To qualify for the Global Talent Stream, employers must

Employers must offer competitive wages to foreign workers that are consistent with prevailing wages for similar positions in the local labor market.
Employer applies for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) through the GTS.
If the LMIA is approved, the employer provides a job offer to the foreign worker.
The foreign worker applies for a work permit under the GTS.
The work permit application is processed, and a decision is made.
The foreign worker applies for a work permit supported by the LMIA confirmation letter or exemption.
If the work permit application is approved, the foreign worker receives a work permit allowing them to work in Canada under the GTS.
